i found this news very interesting, for many reasons. soccer, a sport that now in europe in nothing more than money, a disgusting demonstration of power, corruption and lack of cultural values, for someone is still a flag of freedom. i report the news form the arabic network for human rights information. “Moroccan school boy jailed for lack of respect for the king, sentenced to jail for writing “God, my homeland, Barça”. the fight for freedom of expression takes unexpected routes sometimes.

     tomorrow is deepavali, or diwali, the festival of light. in india people celebrate the victory of god over the devil with lights and candles everywhere. fireworks also are used massively.  families gather to celebrate the festivity, shops remain open until late. we will also lit our candle. happy deepavali to everyone!

we are back from sri lanka, after a trip imposed by bureaucracy. but yes, i agree, there are worst places on earth where to remain blocked for two weeks while waiting for a visa. we stayed in colombo and unawatuna, a paradise beach in the south of the paradise island. here are some pictures, as usual with no comments.
